The ProSeminar 2026 is organised in Jyväskylä 12th-13th November 2026. The event is organised in collaboration with the InterLearn Centre of Excellence at Jyväskylä University. Everyone who is engaged in Pro development work and those with an interest in the subject are welcome!
The seminar offers an opportunity for dialogue and collaboration between actors within schools and early childhood education and care (ECEC) on the one hand, and research on the other. The programme includes lectures by experts of topical issues and practical workshops for those working in schools and ECEC. This promises for stimulating discussions in Finnish, Swedish and English inspired by international experts.
Some of the main speakers of the seminar include Special Advisor Frode Heiestad (NUBU, Norway), Special Advisor Jukka Vetoniemi (EDUFI), Professor Mikko Aro (JYU) from the InterLearn Centre of Excellence, Professor Hannu Savolainen (UEF) from the ProKoulu research group and docent Vesa Närhi (JYU).
